Over his career spanning thirty-five (35) years as both the CFO and COO, Mike’s has proven to be a conscientious leader who has demonstrated exceptional ability to build and develop extremely efficient management teams. He is highly skilled in managing efforts and activities of people, capital, financial and service resources to reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance operating efficiencies.
Mike Brim founded MB Advisory Services, LLC in 2021 to address a true need in the private sector. MB Advisory Services is a boutique fractional CFO and COO business that is designed to enhance our client’s existing staff to drive optimum financial and operational performance while simultaneously mitigating risks inherent in the business. Since inception, Mike has provided clarity and business focus which has resulted in increased net profit margins for ten (10) firms. As an expert in the Real Estate, Financial Services and Family Office sectors, MB Advisory Services is committed to providing uncommon value to the underserved private sector.
Prior to MB Advisory Services, Mike was both the CFO and COO for three major Chicago real estate firms, a family office and the International Carpenters Union. Mike has Co-Led the merger of the largest privately held Chicago real estate firm in Chicago, Co-Led the acquisition of more than 1 billion dollars of industrial, office and multi-family real estate assets, Successfully negotiated more than 8 million square feet of real estate, Financed in excess of 1 billion dollars of real estate assets, Co-Led the development of more than 6 million square feet of industrial assets and Oversaw the successful operations, analysis and financial review of more than 7.5 billion dollars in real estate assets.
